Community Outreach
At ECUA, we care about our community because we live and work here. And as a local company, it's our privilege to give back in any way we can–from education to safety to helping those in need.
ECUA is committed to improving quality of life and making a positive difference in Escambia County. Our employees voluntarily contribute their time, resources and talents to several charitable efforts and thus strengthen our relationship with the community. Events and organizations ECUA employees support include:
- ECUA Employees’ Golf Tournament benefiting the Sacred Heart Children’s Foundation
- Annual Chili Cook-Off, a fundraiser for ECUA’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life team
- The March of Dimes March for Babies by raising money, volunteering to help on walk day and walking at the event
- Annual Christmas party for the Boys' and Girls' Club of Escambia County, where employees donate money and gifts to help the children
- Fundraising drives in support of United Way, United Cerebral Palsy and The Hawkshaw Lagoon Missing Children Memorial
